Someone in their parking citations should really get a life. Who goes out at midnight on a saturday issuing parking citations when the lot is literally half empty?

Is this how y'all make money from poor students? Are the workers paid by number of citations issued?

C'mon guys.

Always always always late. I commute so it’s important to me that the buses are at least somewhat on schedule. However, everyday after class I have to wait at least 30 minutes (and that’s being generous) for a bus just to transport me to a parking lot. I paid over 200 dollars for my permit just for it to be wasted on using transportation. If I want to park by my classes, it’s upwards of 400. This is ridiculous and I’m sick and tired of this nonsense.

On Tuesday I usually take the CP 151 bus back to my apartment after my night class. Tonight wasn’t the only time this has happened. Me and about 30 other students were stranded at the bus stop waiting for the bus that never arrived. I have the transit app and it showed the bus was due to arrive at its normal time. It never shows. So me and a 30 ish people were left waiting on the street. Thankfully the nice lady driving the MGNR 116 bus was able to drop people off at requested stops along her route. I’ve only ever had problems with the 151 bus, disappointing.

The busses are always late and today a driver didn’t show up for an hour. leaving multiple students stuck until they arrived. as well as some drivers not knowing the route they are supposed to take. as for parking permits it’s an absolute waste!! no parking ever and overall a scam.

Really bad. I purchased the Annual permit, and it hadn't arrived. I was late for my class because of the traffic, so I forgot to put the temporary permit on the dashboard. They insisted on charging me $35 even if I appealed and attached the proof of the record for the annual permit, and there is nowhere to escalate. I was only on campus for 3 hours.

Title: Exceptional Service and Commitment to Excellence: A Review of UNT Transportation Services

My recent experience with UNT Transportation Services, particularly with an outstanding employee named Jessie, was nothing short of exemplary. From the moment I engaged with their services, I was impressed by their professionalism, efficiency, and genuine dedication to customer satisfaction.

Jessie, the employee I interacted with, immediately made a positive impression with their warm demeanor and eagerness to assist. They patiently listened to my transportation needs and offered personalized recommendations that perfectly suited my requirements. Their deep knowledge of UNT's transportation options—from shuttle schedules to parking permits—was evident, and they provided clear and concise explanations that helped streamline my decision-making process.

One of the standout features of UNT Transportation Services is their commitment to accessibility and convenience. As someone unfamiliar with the campus layout, I was initially concerned about navigating parking and shuttle routes. However, Jessie expertly guided me through the available options, ensuring I understood the logistics and benefits of each. Their thorough understanding of campus logistics made me feel confident and well-informed, alleviating any apprehensions I had about transportation logistics.

During my interaction with Jessie, I was also impressed by their responsiveness and efficiency. They promptly addressed all my queries and concerns, demonstrating a genuine willingness to go above and beyond to ensure my experience was seamless. Whether it was assisting with a parking permit application or providing real-time updates on shuttle timings, Jessie consistently delivered exceptional service with a smile.

Furthermore, UNT Transportation Services as a whole exceeded my expectations in terms of reliability and accessibility. The shuttle services were punctual and well-maintained, making commuting across campus a breeze. The parking facilities were conveniently located and well-organized, reflecting a commitment to both functionality and safety. It was evident that UNT Transportation Services prioritizes the needs of their community, consistently striving to enhance the overall experience for students, faculty, and visitors alike.

In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend UNT Transportation Services to anyone seeking reliable and customer-centric transportation solutions at the University of North Texas. I bought a parking permit for a specific reserved parking lot but my permit still hadn't arrived so I was using the temporary paper. A UNT transportation staff came up to me and told me I could not park there, even after trying to explain that I paid extra for this parking. She kept cutting me off and told me I needed to park somewhere else. Afraid she would follow and harass me or even call a tow truck, I decided it was best to cut my losses and park somewhere else. I was trying to back out and drive away and she STILL kept telling me that I needed to park somewhere else. She told me about 3-4 more times, treating me like I was stupid and below her. Do not buy ANY parking permits, not even the reserved parking that costs a couple hundred dollars extra, there's always spaces available there but they don't allow anybody to park there, not even the customers who paid for it. I will be getting a refund since I can't even use it.

Edit- Months later, and I almost got ran over by the same lady who berated me. She was stopped on a four way stop sign and forgot to look for pedestrians, the very reason why there’s a four way stop sign to begin with… How are these people enforcing where you can and cannot park, giving out tickets, and yet they can’t even drive? And no apology or acknowledgment from her. They’re also removing lot 7 this summer, so less parking for students. The buses have been off schedule all year, and they sometimes even miss the stops completely. Unless you can be at UNT at 8 AM, there is no chance you will find parking after 9:30 Am.

Worst for parking,
I had an eagle pass before and as some of the other reviews, even though we bought a pass, there is no guaranteed parking. Parking passes are in the hundreds of dollars and mind you most college students have financial troubles. Say if the students have financial troubles, and the transportation offers busses to campus and offers free parking at lot 20. Most of the time, the busses are always full and skip people waiting for their stop. I stood in 35 degree cold for one and a half hours because the busses skipped our stop twice and was late to class.

Parking citations,
Transportation does not care about student organizations for parking. I had to go to a meeting and printed out a daily pass and still got ticketed. There is no way around UNT parking and the only viable options for transportation is walking and biking if you live close to UNT, and Uber if you live off campus but that can be expensive. Do better UNT transportation. Y'all are unreliable to provide great services.
