Gogetter Jea’s Grant Writing Class is a must for anyone looking to both understand the grant writing process and begin the grant writing process. This was my first time learning about grants. Gogetter Jea not only taught me about grants, she also led me to the website where I would then apply for my first grant. Jea, didn’t leave me there. She actually helped me to start the application and led me to another online resource that would aid me in crafting the best answers that I could. Jea, stayed to assist myself and my other class mates, until we were finished with our grant applications. I left the class feeling empowered and now I am a confident grant writer thanks to Gogetter Jea. Going forward, I will keep educating myself and tweaking my grant writing skills along the way.
