Even one star is too much. I read a lot of comments here and I must agree that behaviour in this dealership is terrible. Writting this case to spare somebody else time. I work as "Vermittler" from Slovenia, so we usually arrange purchase for our private clients. My client wanted to buy a Mini Cooper which was advertised on the website www.mobile.de. After we checked the car, we confirm the purchase and send ID card from the client directly to the salesman. Usually procedure. Mr. Matthias said that the client has to be identified by their website. Ok, we said we can do this. My client is 78 old woman, so I arranged that her son goes to her address and help her with the online program.

After two hours of trying, a client called me and said that the identification was not successful, because it is not okay that we have an ID card and Passport where it is written "Permanent". But in Slovenia (and also a few other countries) when the person is older that 70 years old automaticlly gets all documents as "permanent" and there is no more valid date on it. My client also travels a lot and she never had problems with ID card or Passport.

We tried to explain this to the dealer and then he recommended that the client make identification on his own banks. Ok, deal. Client then drove one hour to her main bank, where the bank told them that no bank in the Europe is autorizate for identification of the person (only IBAN account can be confirmed there) and that what the dealer asks is inlegal. After that, the client went to our registration office, where all the ID cards and Passports are made. She paid official autorization. They made him an official letter in English, confirmed her identity, put stamp on it and sent it to the client's email adress.The salesmen refuses again.

I told the salesman that the client is willing to make a direct video call with him with her Passport in hand, he refused again. In the meantime I called him 10 times, the phone was offline all the time.

Since the client still wanted this car, I was calling 10 different persons in company, but after that nobody wanted to speak with me or my client. We also wanted to suggest that client's son buys the car, but they rudly hang up the phone and said that director doesn't want to sell the car. After spending 4 days for nothing, I suggested client to choose other company and to listen lawyers who advise to report this case. After they check the case, it was clear that company wanted things which are inlegal by EU law and also are not the obligate by BMW/Mini regulations. We reported the case to german departmen, mobile and to BMW AG. I am sure they will find a lot of incorrections. In the meantime we will find Mini from the dealership who values its costumers.
